What better way to celebrate the heritage of Jackson County, than to launch a geotrail? The Tourism Committee of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is happy to have launched the county's first ever geotrail. The trail consists of 30 caches. You must find and log them all to complete the trail. Geocachers should take one sticker from each cache and place it on an official trail passport. "The heritage trail was AMAZING! We’ve been geocaching since 2004 and it takes a lot to impress us, and this series certainly did. I’m not sure who made all the containers (Texas Pete and Bobokat, I think, but I don’t know their real names), but they did a great job." Kimberly – Habersham County, GA
